The Texas Summer Music Conference began in 2003. Serving as an outlet to educate aspiring urban music artists, producers, dj’s models and all lifestyle related affiliates on the entertainment industry, the event has provided this audience with access to exclusive networking opportunities.


• Mic Moodswing is the founder/creator of the Texas Summer Music Conference.
• Mic Moodswing's Movement Entertainment Group is the parent company of the Texas Summer Music Conference and two ABA Basketball Teams, The Texas Tycoons and Houston Havoc. It is also the home of Down XM Radio, as well as the Movement Entertainment Group which also houses a full service recording studio.
• The Texas Summer Music Conference has provided opportunities for up-and-coming independent and major artist from all around the country since its inception.
• The Texas Summer Music Conference is a Dallas-based urban music Conference featuring educational panels, exhibits, Independent & Major Artist showcases, fashion shows and afterparties.
• The Texas Summer Music Conference has maintained a safe non-violent urban music event since its inception.
